Public voting is open on FIFA.com and will run until 23:59 CET on 10 December 2021.

FIFA will announce the three finalists in each of the seven categories listed above in early January 2022

The winners will be revealed at an online ceremony on 17 January 2022.

I honestly don't think that anyone cares about this award. Ballon d'Or is what everyone wants. Too bad those two awards split few seasons ago.

ironically messi deserves more this than ballon d'or because is about the season and not the calendar year, so the insane start of the season from lewa and messi ghosting after copa shouldn't be counted but if they vote now sure there will be lot of simpathy for lewa so I think he'll win.

Lewa won this last year since it wasn't cancelled.

Isn't this the award where coaches, journos and captains vote? I think the B'dOr results might sway people towards Lewandowski.
Then you have some random ass country voting for Ferran Torres, Henderson and Alba.

People can do whatever they want. Ballon d'Or is a 65-year tradition now, the Academy Awards of football and considered the most prestigious.

I'm against fan voting, FIFA should drop this part. People vote based on feelings, most of the times against rival team players, this is not objective.
