Would suck if he goes on to become a great player while Ferran keep missing the goal here

Yeah, he doesn't look particularly outstanding. But players of this style who have a knack for scoring are gold. Let's see if he can translate to Europe.

The game was finished but those two finishes by Julian Alvarez - lovely.

I will never understand why we didn't maintain the signing of this lad. Especially in hindsight of the levers which the board knew were happening.

Alvarez, Kaiky, Moleiro were/are 3 great opportunities of the market that we closed the door to that we probably shouldn't have.

Instead of Ferran, we could have brought Julian

There is a difference between playing for garbage ass city in garbage ass league compared to Barca and la Liga.

He would fail. Just like Diaz.

That's probably true, but I am not sure If he could have joined in January. We needed a player immediately.

The guy didn't even look at the goal when he finished for his two goals tonight. And both were superb finishes.

City doing well with these types of transfers. Reminds me of the Jesus transfer where they paid <20 mil for him

Not just a good finisher. His overall play is impressive.
