They're going to win the Liga, Atleti wont keep the pace unless Suarez has another purple patch like the one he had in the first half of last season.

Have to give it to Madrid, kept pounding Valencia and got rewarded in the end.

Compared to us, led by a cowardly and conservative Koeman who is more interested in not conceding than having the courage to attack to defend.

Football these days is all about making sure you are the team that attacks most if not all of the time
The old concept of 'defending a lead' is dangerous

Another confirmation tonight:
Valencia the better team for 70 min
Then they accept the task of 'having to defend' a result
Ancelotti throws all attackers in,
and from the moment this particular role playing started, it was so certain RM will find the goals

Agreed X100

It helps when you also have the personnel. Madrid pulled off comebacks like this with other managers too.

Barca were top scorers in the league last season and scored plenty in cup win.

Scored 18 more than both Atletico and Real in the league.

This idea Barca when went ahead sat on lead is fabrication.

All teams will do that at times depending on how game is going but Barca last season by and large tried to score as many as can when ahead.

Round 5 quick summary...

Falcao has scored in his Rayo debut to give them the only win for a home side in this round. There were 6 draws, three of them goalless. After losing against Atletico conceding a very late goal last week Espanyol this time earned a draw with a 97th minute equalizer at Betis scored by Leandro Cabrera. Another Uruguayan CB Ronald Araujo also with a 90th minute goal to rescue Barca a point against Granada while Real Madrid have turned the game around at Mestalla with two goals in last 5 minutes. Another goal for Karim Benzema who has the most goal contributions amongst all players in top European leagues so far (6 goals, 5 assists).

You can watch all 19 goals here...

There is no rest as La Liga will be played in mid-week and first three games of Round 6 are already on tonight, starting with Madrid derby between Getafe and Atletico in one hour and probably the most interesting game being played tomorrow when in-form Valencia will visit the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium in Seville.
