The reaction to these comments shows how incredible Messi’s PR is. People have been questioning how Ronaldo fits at a top PL side all summer yet it is still seen as heresy to doubt Messi’s ability to do the same now when he would be less of a threat in attack and much more of a liability off the ball.
Mills is 100% right though. Each of the top 6 would probably be worse with Messi starting.
