Ain't gonna lie, Messi looked pretty decent today. Quick decision making, some combo's with Mbappe, few dribbles.

Think people will enjoy him soon enough.


Just caught him a few times unnecessarily hanging deep. Don't know why he does that, confuses team structure.

Probably old habits from Barca sinc ege always needed to be in deep to start the attack

another abysmal display in france. it is stuff like this that makes a mockery of the bdor.

if he cant be motivated enough to excel immediately after winning the bdor, i dont think anything can

The FIFA award is only supposed to be based on performances through August 7th but I worry that his recent displays and controversy of the ballon dor win will stop him getting it. Stressful 6 weeks ahead for sure though.

The best in history for sure, he's the most talented along Maradona, but as someone said Messi was Maradona every day for the past 15 years, and not even Maradona was Maradona every day, it's unbelievable.
