It's a bit cynical of Klopp to try and liken this to the Super League. The problem with the Super League was not that there was loads of money involved, it was the sport as we know it would end. There would be no punishment for failure for the 'elite' and no ultimate reward for excellence for everyone else. Newcastle will have more money than Liverpool only in the same way that Liverpool will have more money than Watford. They still have to go out and play the game and win to achieve things.
