Lol, this is comedy. Jota goes into the keeper while he miscontrols the ball. And they give a pen.
These refs are idiots. You have to follow the ball, don't change direction while the ball is moving in the opposite way.
Ridiculous call!
There have to come some serious changes in officiating in football

What can they do? VAR is useless when referees don't know the rules. Refs in Premier League are some of the worst if not the worst.

They can start by stopping the stupid process of "simplifying" the rules of the game, which end up distorting and abusing them.
which - in other words - mean just making it 'automatic' so that the refs have the luxury to get rid of their responsibility in making decisions.
We saw this first with handballs the last 3 years:
Eliminate the 'intention' part which requires judgment from the ref -> easier and with VAR 'automatic'
Result: nowadays you have absurd calls almost every game, where players need in essence to play without arms to make sure they don't violate the rules
Then, we saw it with offside call:
Millimeter distance between lines drawn off of tiptoes, nails, and hair follicles.
Despite the offside law always been about the body as a whole of the footballers, and not these 'legal' or 'illegal' (sic) parts
It's happening with pens as well gradually:
Eliminate all judgment part of the decision, and 'automate' it: whenever there is contact inside the box, there will be a pen.
RIDICULOUS AF
And violating the spirit of the laws of the game that exist since centuries.

Pulisic the latest to speak about not being all that happy.
Tuchel better watch out as once the players at Chelsea start complaining that is near the end for most coaches as Roman listens to them.
Couple bad results and Tuchy be on the chopping block at this rate.
