    It would be a bit funny if they did win as Qatar would be the first country to win in 2 different continent tournaments as they won the 2019 Asian Cup.

    Would it make sense to merge the Gold Cup and Copa America at some point? You would avoid the ridiculous group stage for Copa America, bring in lots of TV revenue from the USA and Mexico, and give the North American teams good competition in a tournament worth winning.

    True. It could be more interesting and bigger draw. More comparable to Euro really.

    I assume Euro is more watched than Copa America. I have no idea if that's true or not though.
