No NHL players at the Olympics again. Disappointing that we'll miss out on seeing the best vs best at International Hockey.

Canada will win anyways, right?

With NHL players, Canada would've been the heavy favourites. Only goaltending is a weakness but you only need 1 goalie.

Without NHL players, the Russian team will be the favourite. They have better players to draw from in the KHL.

Our ice hockey team beat Puigcerda and is crowned once again the champions of the Spanish ice hockey league. 2 years in a row.

Go Kraken! Think we'll improve a lot in 2nd season.

Still not quite a playoff team. Flames, Knights, Kings, Oilers should be above them in the division. Though that could change depending on how their top draft picks like Beniers and Wright perform. Elite centreman can change an entire team.

Don't expect playoffs but think we should be competitive for much longer than last year. Hopefully Grubauer can return to form and new players like Burakovsky and Bjorkstrand will bring goals alongside both rookie centres (well, mostly Beniers, I think Wright will need some more time to adapt to NHL).

Don't want to get too hyped up but the Kraken are on fire.

Second 7-win game streak of the season with 6 of those wins coming on the road, and the last one was the most impressive beating the best team in the league and giving the Bruins their first regulation loss in TD Garden since April last year while also being the first team to shut them out this season.

Think the success of expansion teams like Vegas and Seattle shows that top-end talent doesn't matter as much as depth in the NHL with its hardcap on salaries. Better to have quality across all 4 lines and the 3 D pairings, plus a couple of good enough goalies.
