Smart player with good passing and dribbling technique who works hard for the team and gives his all. Been waiting a while for a midfielder like that.

tbf, Pedri showed flair with NT and Las Palmas and early games in barca. The common factor is that he showed less flair the longer he was coached with Koeman

JUST IN: Barcelona have started talks with Gavi’s entourage & well as his agent to renew his contract, that currently expires in 2023 — they want to improve the terms in his deal & the idea is for him to be registered in the main team next year.

Don't think he can sign a 5 year contract but can a 3+2 before he turns 18 AFAIK. Anyway, not worried about losing him. He wants to stay and succeed here.

Pedri was coached well enough and was being changed more into a midfielder as part of team than just individual.

The worth of Pedri and how much he improved was evident by his performances in the Euros.

Pedri is a better player for last season not worse.

The only thing this guy is good at is that he is only 17 years old. But this is not his merit. Overrated.

Orellana is well-versed tactically. He perfectly interprets the role of 6 in a 4-3-3 system. He breaks lines well with passes. In addition, he has good defensive performance.

Orellana was freed in summer and had no decent offers.

He is tidy on ball and good range of passing but nowhere near likes of Gavi.
