That angry German thing is just nostalgia rewriting history. If you want to see angry, aggressive and passionate football today, just watch most latin American teams. Don't expect a spectacle though.

I'm watching the Ecuador game on fs1 and I'm in Ireland but it's hard listening to these American commentators. I guess they try and explain alot for clueless Americans. Also they don't seem have a go at any players. Like when gueye didn't even hit the target with that great chance there was no he has to score or terrible effort just and he shoots wide there
