How did Dembele do after he got subbed on?
Didn't look to have much confidence. Got the ball on the wing plenty of times with the opportunity do take the opposing fullback on 1v1 and mostly just deferred back to the midfield. Got one good chance near the end of the match with a clear lane on goal and instead did a fake shot allowing the defender to get back to block the shot.
So typical Dembele.

Weird schedule having both WC qualifiers and Euro 2020 in mind.
Real bad start for Frank de Boer and I guess part of the Dutch media will still blame Koeman for leaving the job.
People blaming Koeman was a relatively small portion. At the moment majority are happy he is doing well at Barca and understand his decision. Koeman left Dutch team in a state where another trainer could've picked up the project and continue from there. Disgrace of Dutch football federation they can't find anyone capable aside from Koeman.
They should fire de Boer and bring in Bosz. Rate him much higher.
De Boer tactically inept and think he doesn't control the dressing room.

This Spain has no resemblance to the WC and EC winning teams. Possession but zero penetration. No midfield dominance/creativity.
Yes, they're still likely strong enough to make quarterfinals but unlikely to advance further.
