Everything is possible
1. NT teams don't have chemistry like clubs
2. Only one KO match, not 2 matches like in a CL (higher chances for a day off and surprises)
3. All underdogs like Japan, Korea, Australia, Morocco, Usa etc have wins against favorites already.
4. One lucky goal/stupid VAR pen and every single match can go into a panic mode and wrong direction

Japan are certainly going further.
The only way they'll be beaten IMO is by a taller/more physical team with endless crossing.
Don't see Croatia beating them.
My prediction:
USA win v Holland
Argentina win v Australia
Japan win v Croatia
Brazil win v South Korea (very close game)
France MURDER Poland (good lord)
Spain lose on penalties to Morocoo
Portugal win v Switzerland
England win v Senegal

I am not expecting favourites to be as native as in the group games. Only real upsets I could see are usa and maroco.
My prediction: (be warned, will not age well).
Holland win USA (this could get to penalties)
Argentina win Australia (Messi to miss a penalty)
Croatia win Japan (Croatia has quality)
Brazil win S. Korea (this one I expect big win)
France win Poland (closer game than expected)
