No trolling, you talked about the glory days long gone by for RM, and you literally go back 10 years earlier for your own glory days in Europe, so ofc you are being disingenuous.

So, try something different?

Imagine citing one of the greatest logicians of all time - Einstein - to buttress a point that is totally and utterly devoid of logic (of 2nd place finish potentially helping Barca go farther when it actually increases the odds we face the caliber of opponents we normally face in QFs...in the R of 16)

Okay, yes it was a joke, obviously.

There is a point in there though, you face no opposition on your way, you`ll end up being too soft when a team comes by that can actually challenge you.
No, you shouldnt go for 2nd place on purpose, but perhaps it would be better if you met a team that pushed you for first, instead of just sweeping the group, no sweat.


Juve are mediocre though, so there will be no push for first place.

Pedri should get some rest, he has played a lot. Also, Dest had some problems so I wouldn't start him either. Mingueza can play as a RB.

MATS; Mingueza, FDJ, Firpo, Balde?; Alena, Pjanic; Trincao, Puig, Dembele; Braithwaite

Bring on Dest in 2nd half for FDJ and move Mingueza inside.

For me, or some variation of that.

Would not be opposed to trying Trincao in the AMC with Dembele and Konrad swapping on the wings either.

We earned the privelage to rotate and experiment here a little basically.

Getting to he top spot doesn't mean we qualify next round and it shouldn't be our priority. We are far behind in LL and our B team should be able to beat these guys.
Rest Messi, Alba, Busi, Coutinho, Griezmann, Pedri.
At least don't play them for the whole 90 minutes.

We can always through in dembouz second half to score some golazos and be done with it.
