FIFA and UEFA are the governing bodies of football, sure they can do things if they want to. Of course it will hurt themselves if they go ahead with the ban, but they are in the position to publish these clubs to stop more damage being inflicted.

That is the issue that some teams have gteed place but for most of these they will qualify every year anyway but that is worst part of it.

There is not relegation promotion but there cant be and although limited teams will have chance to qualify.

Apparently, clubs get €400m for playing in ESL. That’s a fucking big amount.

Barca fans should be extremely happy that we gain massive amount of money.

It gives us better opportunity to continue pay Messi's wages and sign Mbappe or Haaland.

And? Sign them for what? For European MLS where no one relegates and you have an automatic place every year? And than, what is thwe point of european leagues anymore? Let's bplay 100 El Clasico games per year, because that surely will increase the stature of the game.

this was about to come at any point really. Top clubs spiraled out of control with no regulation and now see themselves too big to play domestically. You reap what you sow.

Yeah,but there’s only a false sense of equality in the CL and in the domestic leagues.

The big clubs have grown so rich and powerful that they attract all talent to them,whether by transfers or at their academies.No other teams can challenge them.

When was the last time a small team won the CL?Maybe Monaco in 2004?

What about the referees, officials etc. Where are they going to come from? Surely Fifa/Uefa would ban guys like Manzano, Hernandez etc if they officiated in those games. So much to consider here. Doubt this even gets off the ground.

The referees are not a problem,they will surely agree with the right fee.

ESL will just pay them twice the going rate of UEFA and they'll come officiate here instead.

Again, I'm not saying ESL is the solution but UEFA is absolutely nothing without its assets - aka the big clubs. Yes, this sounds bad but it's already that way right now. The last time there was parity was when teams like Red Star Belgrade and such were beating Barcelona and Milan in the European cup.

Nobody knows how those 5 clubs will qualify every year. I really don't trust an organization made up of its founders and there is no overarching governing entity on top of them. Basically these clubs make up the rules that benefit them.

Also, the ESL will kill the domestic leagues if they do get kicked out, since fewer people will be drawn to those domestic leagues and far less money will be received by those clubs that are not part of the ESL. Very selfish move.

Anyways, it will be interesting to see how this pans out.

15 teams will have a place every single year.

Bum ass Arsenal could finish last, but a team like Ajax would get relegated or not qualify for next year even if they finish in front of them.
