an offside goal doesn't count as 'he was unlucky' because if he was in a position to not be offside then maybe he doesn't score?????

Erm, the logic on this..?

Griezmann hit the post twice, it could've easily been a goal.
Messi decided to not pass Ansu at 1-0, could've been an easy pass and an open goal for Ansu.
Juve were lucky Ansu failed the pass to Braithwaite, could've been a goal.

etc.

Luck or bad luck.

I agree. If this was a La Liga ref, we would have lost or drawn this match.

La Liga refereeing is so obedient to Madrid's needs it's not even worth mentioning, sadly even now with VAR it remanins exactly the same as before...

Honestly: VAR makes it much worse. Because now you can really make game changing decisions and have the aura of quasi objectic neutral standards. look at the clasico: you pick the pull from langlet out of the context( foul before from ramos, common law in the game since centuries etc) and can claim: " well it is a foul by law, so lets call a penalty."

On the other hand when you look at possible Barca penalties: its always the same: "it was not crystall clear therefore wave on" ect.

It took them one year, but since the restart VAR has become the best scheme to fuc... us in the ass. i mean the institutional head of this is former referee Velasco Carballo from madrid, who during his active time was always strictly anti Barca!!!

Its like making Orban the head of a human rights group...
