Every single team overpays for players right now. That's the market. Either you play or you make Top 3 in La Liga your main objective for the next 2-3 years. You can't have both.
I'm fine with not paying up. Because I can accept 2-3 years of no titles.

Even though I am skeptical of Raphinha at Barcelona I still want them to hijack the deal. Pulisic will stay after all.
