We are top of La Liga, Copa Del Rey and Champions League in the xG charts according to footystats.org

In a nutshell... xG treble loading.

Real one of the 4 clubs in La Liga (other 3 being Celta, Huesca and Granada) to get their wage limit raised after winter window.
Barca's fell by ~40(M?)

That means that Barca needs to cut wages or sell? So they can't sign anyone while they don't sell/cut?

Only if you're close to the limit. So presumably yes.

The cap is generally defined by the income left over once you take away anything related to sport activities (wages of players & staff, taxes and insurance expenditure, transfer amortisation, bonuses - in all sports sections of the club including basketball, handball, women etc). Real and Barca had broadly same budgets to spend, but Barca assumed return of fans to stadiums from December when doing their income prediction. Real on the other hand only assumed there'd be no need to do further wage cuts - did not expect fans to return all season.

La Liga also announced they'll be imposing penalties for breaching the cap - will subtract the amount gone over from next season allowance.

Sevilla is in a totaln knockdown. They are done. BVB will finish them.

I hope not. Even though we still need them to drop points to guarantee our spot in the top four, we do need Sevilla to be strong enough to take some points off both Real Madrid and Atletico.

Hoping for a draw or a RM win.In any case we still have 12 matches to go,that's a LOT, including both Madrid derbies. Anything can happen! :barcascarf:
