Seems like United wants to buy Douglas Costa from Juventus. He is a worldclass player when he is fit but thats the point this man is 80% of a season injured. He has missed against Ajax and against Lyon again. Never there when it matters.

Arsenal unreal pressing. Arteta the GOAT.

Yea, I'd say pressing is essential today. If you don't have that, it's tough the defend properly and create many chances.

Pressing gives you recoveries in good positions, gives you an edge in counterattacks, gives you another important layer of protection for the defense, makes the opponent panic and pass without precision, gives spaces to your attackers, gives you control in midfield.

The time where you allow the opponent to play and survive with tackles and interceptions near your 16 box is a thing stuck in the 90s - early 00s. If people think that is defending... well you can't do much but laugh . If you don't do much to stop the other team from playing their game, you already start with a major disadvantage.

Don't discount the Bielsa factor guys. Leeds' got game.

From pressing, to runs, to loop balls and through-passes. Mad cohesion.

This whole autumn is going to be so decaffeinated. Only games that are massive historically will garner any kind of interest.

Kinda worried for Spain in European comps.

After january 2020 Liverpool are the same shit in defence as us, so no I'm not surprised. City demolished them 4-0 (actualy 5-0 without stupid VAR).
