Full name: Ryan Jiro Gravenberch
Date of Birth: May 16, 2002 (18)
Height: 1,90 m
Citizenship: Netherlands, Suriname
Position: CM
Foot: Right
Current club: Ajax Amsterdam
Contract expires: 30.06.2021

Another talented youngster coming out of a famous Ajax's academy labeled as the next Pogba. He made a breakthrough to Ajax's first team as a 17 year old this season and has played 9 games before the season was suspended.

There are rumours we're interested in him. His contract with Ajax is expiring next year and he apparently doesn't want to renew although I believe it would be the best for his development to stay there for two more seasons before moving to a bigger club but if he wants to leave then a club like Dortmund would be perfect.

He's still very raw but talent is unquestionable and he would fit well into a box-to-box midfielder role longterm so I wouldn't mind him for a solid price but there are certain concerns about his inexperience at the top level football and moreso he's represented by Raiola. Also, buying Gravenberch would probably mean Ilaix won't have a future at the club.

Us being proactive & signing a young talented player? Unlikely.

Plus Raiola nooo

TBH we've been proactive and signed good talents like Pedri and Trincao before they've made their breakthrough and other teams would sign them or they would become more expensive.

Good for him. He's raw and needs regular playing time. Can see him leaving for a top club in 2022 ahead of the World Cup.

Interesting how there's so little news about him.

Good chances he goes parabolic next year under 10H as he starts getting more minutes. Dude's only 18 but you can already see the quality.

Are we sure he isn't the next Bazoer?

Long passes, can pull at similar level. But he dribbles better and can detach faster from opponents thx to long strides and great agility for his size. Overall, much better skills and tools I think.

Had Ajax kept Isac, they'd have cut a cool slenderman duo look.

edit: here check this out -- >

this guy plays smooth jazz! [2:06] was groovy but he's got so many wow moves it's insane for such a low-key playa

dude dribbles in tight places inside a packed box with a lot of ease, and on top of that he scores like a natural CF. His short passing game is tops too.

We're linked to him now. Curiously MD claiming it's because they see him as Busquets' successor even though he plays nothing like Busquets or as a CDM

If we are getting a midfielder, he needs to be either a destroyer in the DM position or a great playmaker
