He was all over shop in the second half defensively but near enough impossble job with Gavi the headless chicken on front of him leaving space and Carvajal to get forward and the DMs/CBs as clueless as were.

Add a bit of muscle, better decision making in final third and some defensive positional quality and this guy can be our LB for years.

He's one of two people in this team I believe in currently.

Was one time where he managed to dribble all the way inside the box on the line and brought deja vu of Alphonso Davies vs Semedo. But think a mixture of decision making but also not having many options either stopped it from coming to anything. Let?s win La Liga and see what we can manage to strengthen the team next season. Even with De Jong, Pedri, Christensen and Dembele we are missing both finishing product in big games but also depth.

Couldnt handle pressure of being on receiving end. Before has shown he has good control of ball and more than decent shot when he picks up ball from a rebound or if it falls near him from a skirmish. But being expected to score is a different beast.

0 blame tho.

Playing fullbacks/wingbacks as fulltime wingers is always a bad idea. You need a different mindset and understanding as a winger, even if fullbacks often hang out in the same areas.

Should create more offensively. Started taking more initiative later in the game when he was on the right, but didn't result in much.
