I've seen it before here at Barca with players who can't quite make the jump into the Barca spotlight, better players than him never fully fit in - I think of Alexis Sanchez, for example
I am surprised ultimately because what I saw of him even before his arrival & pre-season convinced he had the right sort of head on his shoulders - coupled with the exciting moments he provided in pre-season I thought he had the potential to make an instant impact like Pedri. I would absolutely loan him out and see how he develops but wouldn't waste one more minute at Barca until he improves
