they don't have the pace though. The main reason 3-4-3/3-5-2 produces so many chances is by the virtue of having a pacy striker up top. Now if Ansu were fit, he would be starting player in that position of course as it is perfect for him.

What help us to create chances if Dumbale then passes to the GK?

Versus most La Liga teams it does help us, but we obviously need something better. Having slow players up front will lead to teams pushing up higher vs. us and lead to the same issues we've had last 2-3 years.

Ideally Dembele is replaced by Haaland and Griezmann is replaced by Ansu.

Haaland is pretty quick and while Ansu is no Dembele he's much quicker than Griezmann. Both are great at getting into goalscoring positions. Haaland is a killer finisher while Ansu is very good too.

Great dribbling, but the final pass is not there, which renders all his action prior to that meaningless. Something what most players do on national team duty in lower FIFA nation rankings.

I appreciate his willingness to move the ball forward and take some risks. We have got plenty of conservative players.

you cannot expect him to develop when he plays 30 minutes here and there. He is only 21 and in his second professional season. It is on us to ensure that he gets enough opportunities to develop his game.
