Huesca 2-0 Numancia
Ponferradina 2-1 Almeria

with about 20 minutes left

If Almeria won't turn the game over then Huesca is returning to La Liga before the last round.

Girona leading 2-0 vs Cadiz with two goals by Stuani. No chance for a direct promotion anymore if Huesca wins but they will guarantee a playoff spot.

And Zaragoza continues to fall apart, Albacete is beating them 4-1.

Semi-final and final, both played over two legs

Huesca officially promoted alongside Cadiz. Well done.

Rayo bottled a win in 90th minute and now only have small chances to finish 6th.

Following teams are already qualified for the playoffs:

3. Almeria 63
4. Girona 63
5. Zaragoza 62

And then there are 3 teams competing for the last spot

6. Fuenlabrada 60
7. Elche 58
8. Rayo 57

Fuenlabrada have just won against Elche today and are better in h2h with them so they only need a point away vs Depor who are in the relegation zone and desperately need a win.

Elche is at home vs Oviedo who doesn't play for anything. They need a win and Fuenlabrada's loss.

Rayo plays away against Racing who are dead last. They have a better h2h with Fuenlabrada so if Rayo wins, Fuenlabrada lose and Elche doesn't win they will take a 6th position.

Stuani is fucking on one this season :worthy: Hope Girona win the playoffs.

@Messi983 always found it odd they play the final over two legs too. Mallorca’s last season was unreal though.

Here we go...

The meeting between Fuenlabrada and Deportivo La Coruna has been postponed after seven members of the former tested positive for COVID-19.With the final round of matches traditionally played at the same time, the outbreak at Fuenlabrada was expected to affect the whole round of fixtures, yet it has now been decided that the other games will take place as normal.

Other games should be suspended too imo. With Fuenlabrada involved in the promotion playoff push and Deportivo in the relegation battle the league will hardly be regular.

Deportivo got relegated, now have nothing to play for while Fuenlabrada can win and qualify play-off.

Huesca won the league after Cadiz lost in the last game vs Albacete.

Zaragoza have finally won after they've only got 1 point from previous 6 games and finished 3rd. They will play either Elche or Fuenlabrada in the playoffs. Elche is currently 6th but Fuenlabrada only need a draw (whenever that suspended game against Deportivo will be played) to level with them at 61 points.

Girona have lost today and finished 5th. They'll play vs Almeria in the playoffs.

Numancia and Deportivo are joining already relegated Extremadura and Racing in Segunda B. Depor could potentially still finish with the same number of points as Ponferradina but they have a worse h2h. Lugo and Albacete have won today to stay up.

Yeah, Elche will probably feel the worst because of this but they've had their chance just a few days ago and lost against Fuenlabrada so don't think they should really complain too much.

Rayo have also threatened with legal actions against the league but with Elche winning they wouldn't finish top 6 anyway.

28 positives in Fuenlabrada between the players and coaching staff. They are in quarantine in a hotel in La Coruna.
