Tactically arguably the best Barca coach after Guardiola. The team he inherited wasnt good yet he won two La Ligas and almost a CL. With that squad few coaches would have done better. Ernesto is way better than Setien and Koman. Luis Enrique? Had Ernesto been the coach during that period, he would have won at least two CLs.

Way of playing cannot be seen separately from tactics, though.
Yeah, he was good tactically at parking the bus, playing a limiting 4-4-2 with Messi and Suarez up front, he was good at that.
But what he was playing was utter shit, and I bet if he still around, he could never play the football of the last month or so, he would still park the bus and try to scrap wins with a Messi goal
