Athletic Bilbao is the perfect club for Valverde. I reckon he might get a chance at Sevilla or Atletico at some point still.

Good luck, senior Valverde. Hope Bilbao plays in the CL next season. And hopefully Ernesto will one day get another chance at a big club. The most underrated, undera?ppreciated manager in modern football.

Tbf to Ernie not much point waiting for a top club as who knows how long Klopp or Pep or Lucho will stay

Sure if you ignore the awful football, the champions league humiliations and his terrible final half season then yes, he is Pep reborn.

"The awful football" was the only way to get results. You couldnt play Tiki-taka with that old squad. Champions league humiliations were due to invidual mistakes.
