Valverde didn't build that squad and we were humiliated away to PSG and Juve before he took over. Vidal was probably the only of the signings that was down to EV.

Messigician is right. You have to be realistic. An ageing squad, ageing Messi... This is not the all-conquering Barca of 2011. That time is long gone. The only way of getting results with this squad is to play slow, cautious football. Ernesto knew it. He achieved the absolute most he could.

Thats true, even with Luis Enrique we got smashed two times against Juve 0-3 and PSG 0-4. This team was too bad for fast and direct football. The only match which was embarrassing was Roma match as we have defend instead of attacking, you cant lose 0-3 when you have won the first leg 4-1. In the anfield match we got several chances but didnt take advantage from them.

false. messi was very good under EV and with the proper coaching and signings around him we could have done much better. were we going to be 2011 barca? of course not. but we could have been much better than EV's shitty, slow paced, unattractive and CL-failing squad. by that logic we might as well close the club because messi is old
