He does you're right, Buendia is much more effective.

I'm calling it now, Stevie G will be nothing more than a Steve Bruce type manager. Talks the talk, nobodies guaranteed places, roll our sleeves up etc etc - next game, picks the same team and we're shite again :lol:

Media love him though don't they, Carragher at Sky Sports will be hanging out the back of him no matter what. Bit like when it was obvious Ole wasn't up to scratch and Neville stayed silent despite criticising proven managers for a lot less.

Mings has a mistake in him but we didn't look any stronger without him today. Gerrard was on local radio earlier talking nonsense about Mings needs to look him in the eye and tell him he's ready to play, whatever that's supposed to mean.

He started brilliantly but looks totally out of it right now. Been a passenger recently and is adding zilch to the team. Very bizarre.

He’s finished truthfully. He can only play in bursts, and when he starts a game needs hooking off after 60 minutes as he’s shot.

He’s pretty much playing for the pay cheque now I’m sure of it. Got zero magic left in him.

A precipitous drop in value. Happy to get 20 mil for a guy who cost 140+ just 4.5 years ago.

Could not play in the midfield and was never going to work as a winger. Difficult to understand the logic of putting Coutinho on the wings when you already have Messi on the team. Ended up having a slow and static frontline.
