Difficult to understand the vision Barca management had when they splurged the money on him. I believe Robert Fernandez said he saw Coutinho as an Iniesta replacement. That really says it all. Bad leadership from the top down.

Maybe because he's 30+, shit, on a 1 year contract and Barca was super desperate to get rid of his ridiculous high salary?
