No one gives a shit about Rakitic.
He's effectively becoming the Yamcha of this team. At one point he was useful, but the rest of the team are better and even the younger guys have more potential. He's basically around because he's good ole friends with the better players.

Probably because Rakitic is on his last legs and will soon be history. He is NOT getting extended. Soon he will not be a Barca player. No one gives a shit if he nutmegs our new star attacker.
Dembele is young, talented and with a future at Barca according to various sources, including our president. Not to mention, he is French so they have that connection and friendship. That's exciting to fans.

He has been completely and utterly underwhelming for two seasons. He hasn't learnt anything (still doesn't know how to shield the ball, short passing is atrocious, decision making is atrocious, cant dribble in tight areas, and has poor chemistry with the team) and is injury prone. Total-football is just making a prediction based on what Ousmane Dembele has shown us.
What's weird as fuck is the insane optimism for this player when the majority of his matches in 2 years have been mediocre or worse. This fanbase has scrutinised better players for lesser "crimes."
