Extend him and sell him for a good price. But before we even think of selling him we need to get rid of griezmann and of course we need to replace dembele with a decent winger. Cant believe that we lost fati otherwise the situation would be much more comfortable.

Of course he will get a raise, find me 1 person in this world that would take lower wages just because he loves the club or whatever. We either agree to whatever he is asking for, or we let this ~90m player leave for free.

His guaranteed wage should be no more than half his current wage. Rest of the deal should be bonuses given his injury record

Have you been sleeping or something? These are just the prices of the current market, we sold Malcom for 40, Arthur for 50, Dembele is a player that will play for another decade, I would be shocked if he goes for anything less than 90m

It's not that simple. Next year, his contract ends and he is clubless. He will have to take a lower wage unless he finds someone willing to match or exceed his current wages. Given all the question marks around him, that won't be easy to do.

Point is that he has the upper hand in negotiations, he knows we won't let him leave and most likely just agree to whatever he asks.

We shouldn't though. We should offer him at Max the same wages he is on plus performance bonuses. He has in no way shape or form justified being given any sort of pay rise. If he believes he can go elsewhere to earn more then we should actively look to move him on this summer.

The only team who would have been stupid enough to pay 90m for Dembele is the team he's currently playing at. His injury record and lack of consistency means no team is going to be anywhere near close to that. Especially in a post-covid market.

lol we are so fucked yet again. club just can't let 120m player that was considered neymars replacement and future face of the club to run out of contract. they will meet his demands just to avoid embarrassment of loosing such expensive player on free and to show that he is not a flop...

He has a contract until 2022, can sell him in the summer.
