Nah. I think it's been a while since half of Getafe had links to Castilla. Must date back to Soldado and Jordi Codina days.
Edit: Checked and in fact he was in La Fabrica, but left 7 years ago. Who knew...

So now we have no fully fit LB before Supercopa, Atleti and Seville. Excellent.

Getafe are so professional at pulling their pants down for Madrid that they now probably come to the stadium without shorts :lol:

So someone gives a damn, don't think your theory holds ground mate. Not that it'd be any different with many other managers. It's a cup winners cup. CWC is also a glorified friendly and players + club still care. Must be some reason...

Of course somebody gives a damn, 'nobody gives a shit' is a figure of speech. It means it is a competition with almost no importance, changed so that the Spanish Federation could make some money on the side.

It's not much different than the Miami Clasico we won 3-2.

It carries enough importance for players and teams to put minimal effort in to win the game. They're not out there just for a run out, particularly Valencia and Atleti won't be, because they can use the win vs Real & Barca to propel themselves to better league form and stick a minor trophy in while they're at it. So while the comp itself doesn't awfully matter, the performance does. And for Real and Barca it matters, because they want to keep the winning rhythm for the league with the race being as close as it is. Our current sides don't exactly have the luxury of switching off for a week or going out there to walk and then perform the same way in the subsequent fixture. So they will likely play at 75% at least, if not 100%.

It's actually pretty good they've placed it at this time of the year.

Hopefully all teams turn up with the intention to play this like a proper final (well, tournament) but given the fact that the spanish FA fcuked over Valencia there's rumours saying they will play second string players only

We should try to win this cup IMO.Firstly it will boost our morale (as Wolfe mentioned).Secondly,it may be the only title we win this season :lol:

It seems like La Liga's top teams are all going through a crisis, but the smaller clubs play some really good football. Has the League really declined or is it only the top clubs that have completed their circle and are in a rebuilding phase?
