The hamstring muscles run down the back of the thigh. Their tendons cross the knee joint and connect on each side of the shinbone.

Ansu Fati has a proximal tendon injury in the hamstring of his left leg

So it's the part that touches the knee, a very common injury in sports.

Outstanding that FCB still not forcing a special diet for this kid !!

It took them (including pep) weeks to do so for Messi ..

PS: this is not his old injury which was a pure knee injury

Fati was examined by two experts in March, and one of those was Dr. Jose Carlos Noronha, one of the best knee specialists in the world. He was astounded by what had been done and will operate on the player, he is Cristiano Ronaldo's most trusted doctor.

We need to switch doctors to him. Mendes was right to take Fati away from Barca.

Like wtf was Barca doing to Fati

Medical update on Ansu Fati
The player underwent a experimental regenerative biological treatment by Dr. Ramon Cugat under the supervision of the club's medical services.

Don't fall for that PR crap, every one of those doctors will try a "house move" just for the media. "OMG what have they done to you, I would have cured you in 5 minutes"

Why i say he need to pull a R9/Messi move, because it's really tied to to his brain more than we think

He need to break this vicious cycle.

FCB should absolutely not play him this season, maybe at the very end for 10/15 mins per match

surgery is risky business, and his history with that approach is very concerning...

its a shame really. kid has a lot of potential. not messi or CR or even neymar potential but still potential.

this season will be crucial. i hope they do their utmost to ensure he can recover adequately

just watch, though, the morons will throw him into games as soon as the 7-10 weeks period is up

People are too quick to give up on players.

I do not believe Ansu is done. In fact I think with proper rehab this time, his story has only just begun.

As promising as he might be I cannot stop thinking of the €150 millions United offerd for him especially with his constant injuries.
