So it's either 50M gross over 5 years or 50M gross a year?

The first would mean that he earns around 5M net a season.
The second would be 25M net a season.

he?d be ahead of Palmer, Ferran Torres, Musiala who have got games this year. If given chances he scores so would have every chance of nailing down more playing time. Agree he?d be brought into the fold slower in those teams but that says more about Barca than Fati.

It's obviously 50 million over 5 years. Can earn hefty amount still with bonuses as someone said. Also if does well can expect contract extension in 2 years and salary raise obviously.

Yep Horatio is right, if he lives up to expectations they will give him the Messi special a contract renewal every 2/3 years, but 10m gross, around 5m net is very reasonable, bartomeu would have given him 10m net 😂.

Can confirm it's NOT 50m per year, but over the duration of the contract.
