We shouldn't rush him back just because we're short on attacking options. We can still play Cou-Memphis-Demir or something like that upfront in coming games.
If Koeman really cares about club's future as much as he said he should do what's the best for Ansu long term not trying to save his own ass by rushing him back.
Although I think it's more Catalan media trying to bring some optimism back to the fans after Bayern game by "announcing" Fati's immediate return more than Koeman/club's doctors really thinking he's ready to play.
IMO he should train with the team for at least 2-3 weeks without any pain/setbacks before he's ready to get some minutes in easier games. But of course we'll never know if/when that will happen. Media reports are one thing, truth could be something different. Could also be Ansu alone pushing for his return and not telling coaches/doctors exactly how he really feels after trainings. Hopefully he'll be smarter than Dembele though or he could go down the same road as him.

Ansu Fati is recovering at a great pace now. He could be ready for the game against Atl?tico Madrid on October 2nd. Ousmane Demb?l? will join the group in two to four weeks.
I would not play him against a physical team like Atletico so soon tbh

Agreed. If ready give him some minutes in easier league games before Atletico but should not play against those butchers.

I'm not a doctor but I guess some pain is expected, "normal" and "not too worrying" for doctors when he'll try to put more pressure on his knee. Let's hope they all know what they're doing (tbh I have serious suspicions about Barca's medical team but Ansu's recovery is supervised by one of the world's most respectable specialists so he should be in good hands) and that Ansu at his young age knows his body well enough to not push it too much.

Looks indeed like he is already playing "contact sport".
I don't care if he plays his first game in one week or one month. Just good to see him back. Must be a big relief for him to play football again after being sidelined for such a long time.
