He looked pretty lively at LB when he came on.

With the few minutes he played at Copa it'd be wise if he'd cut his vacation short and join the team for preseason after a week or so. New players usually do that so won't surprise me if he does as well.

He was supposed to play in Tokyo. But with Dani Alves' injury before Copa America he was called up as the replacement. It's basically been a swap between the two and the two tournaments.

This is probably better for us. He'd miss on preseason in both cases but he didn't play much in Copa America so won't be too tired and he could maybe also cut his holidays short now and return to preseason stage in Germany at the end of this month. Either way, he should be ready for La Liga start even if I don't expect him to get much minutes immediately. He'll need to earn Koeman's trust.
