How club treated him?

He was an arrogant twat that was far too big for his boots and didnt train properly.

Needed to go out and learn how to be a CB and club always rated Araujo the higher of the two young CBs.

Not saying Todibo was right.

He couldn't handle how the club rated him. Most would've fought for their place but not Todibo with his attitude and arrogance.

His behaviour was arrogance on his part not in due to way club rated him and even if it was that is further blame on him not fighting for place in correct way.

He has said as much and acted same way at Benfica which is why didnt get game there either.

Too many people on here are obsessed with thinking club treat players badly when dont play them enough. Been same for years from Semedo, Mina, Alena, Todibo to Puig now.

It is hard to think of one when players were not played all that much and club was proved wrong on.

Never said they treated him badly from an objective point of view. Only Todibo himself thinks that.

Not really.

His attitude was shit and he needed to grow up and learn how to play CB.

Correct decision to sell him at time and go with Araujo.

He always had potential. He is partly to blame but this clubs insistence on choir boys is the reason we have so many betas in the squad.

Bad timing with his move to us and the shambolic planning state of the club under Bartomeu's demise. Ideally you have a player like him and put trust in him to continue developing until potentially bringing back like Casemiro. But for that the player needs to feel valued.

But don't forget that he went to Benfica and they also wanted to terminate his contract asap. So it is not so clear in hindsight, and his mentality wasn't great a few years back.

The judgement to keep Araujo was spot on too. Similar players but Araujo mentality is way superior, which can be a difference at high pressure clubs.
