Probably because he played most of it but wasnt quite at the huge level some make out.
His positioning is ropey and lack of ability on the ball causes issues tactically.

If we get Kounde, we should probably forget about playing Pique at this point unless we get desperate.
He's still struggling with an injury he got months ago. There's a reason why Xavi has been pushing hard for the likes of Kounde to go along with Araujo and Christensen.
