Went to PSG to be the man, and now 5 years later Mbappe has definitely replaced Neymar with this contract extension.

Wonder how Neymar and his papa will handle this. Hoping for some drama this summer.

Mbappe kinda replaced him as their main star after the 2018 world cup already, didn't he? Especially as injuries started piling up and Neymar became less reliable for them.

Arguably, yes.

But it didn't seem like he have as much behind the scenes power as Neymar and his clan.

This extension and all the rumors about the concessions that PSG made to Mbappe make it seem like he is their guy when it comes to which players has the most power behind the scenes.

He did and seems Neymar doesn't care one bit. It's clear Neymar is not as ambitious anymore about becoming no.1 and winning balon d'ors.

Neymar to Chelsea is trending. PSG apparently promised Mbappe to get rid of Neymar, hire Zidane, and sign Dembele.

Didn't mention which Dembele. Admittedly Mbappe may be wishing to monopolise Dembele's at PSG. Have a team managed by Zidane with 10 Dembele's and Mbappe in the lineup. It's all a bit John Malkovich, by hey, it is his favourite movie.

Imo, Neymar was stronger than current Mbapp? before his injury. Now, Neymar is done. He hasn't got his acceleration back, big downgrade for his overall game Also he isn't as lethal as he used to be.

PSG took a gamble when he renewed last year. Lost gamble, imo.

I'm kinda saddened of what could have been had Neymar not been injured like that.

He was always going to get injured showboating in French league.

Thought about this.
They want him out, he wants his salary so they need a crazy taker.
Next option? Start the loaning process.
We can get a Neymar on a discount salary on a loan if they really want him out.
Won't expect it, but I can see it happening
