Maybe Neymar and his dad knew they would get sick of football in 2-3 years and decided to milk PSG for the money they have too much of. And everything else was a smokescreen. Pretty smart if that's the case. Can't think of a better club than PSG to retire and get rich at while faking effort. A step up even from Barca.

I think he will be motivated until at least the 2022 World Cup. He knows winning it with Brazil will yake his legacy to new heights.

Ronaldinho wasn't useless. He still had his passing and freekicks. Just couldn't dribble past opponents. Neymar can't explode past opps, but he still has other things to offer.

Ney has always been a big game player. Only exception in recent history was the Madrid match where both him and Messi were rather underwhelming

Neymar didnt start first leg and came on to assist the winner although most of it on Mbappe.

In second leg he assisted Mbappe goal again with a great pass and created the most chances for them on the nigh with other decent openings for Messi and Mbappe.

Also plays great pass through when Mbappe couldnt hold run and is off but would have made it 2-0 in Madrid.

Neymar was central to pretty much every chance PSG created in Spain and set up the one goal they scored in Paris.

Not as bad or lacking impact as made out. Two assists in little over two games and could easily have been more.

Messi missed a pen in first leg and cant remember him doing anything of note really in Spain in comparison.

What about the final against Bayern? He missed some great chances, didn't he? Looked cool on the ball as always but was poor in the final third in the biggest game of his career.

He was pretty good against RM.
