Wirtz is a special player, and I'm glad he's back. Sometimes you have to remind people that before his injury he was considered even better than Musiala and Bellingham.

Time for the bench players to prove their worth. We're going to suffer alot in the 2nd leg because of the midfield adsentees, so we might want to think of going with a trio and starting 3 up top. Ferran and Raphi are workhorses atleast to plug the gaps.

Another option is maintain the adapted 442 and have Christensen in the double pivot with Busi.

Perfect opportunity for Xavi to show what he is made of, given the rival, location and manager.

Yeah, let's hope he is forced to give up on an idea of Alonso as a CB. That would be improvement itself. Or even starting Alonso for that matter.

Some scenes in Eindhoven last night.

PSV "fan" attacked Sevilla GK who took him down.

On a match Fiorentina-Braga, Fiorentina scored a goal, the ball crossed the line but the ref still disallowed the goal.

20 minutes later, the same player scored another goal for Fiorentina for 3:2 and then trolled the refs acting as if he is checking the goal with the VAR room:

Haha, brilliant celebration. Wouldn't surprise me if he'll be fined for mocking refs/UEFA or something though.

We were actually linked to this Arthur Cabral guy last year before he went to Fiorentina.

Also, about that disallowed goal.

No need to use technology if then they still let random people in VAR room to decide. Well, at least in the end it didn't impact the result as Fiorentina still won 3-2 and advanced after winning 4-0 in away game. They were down 0-2 in 1st half but Fiorentina replied fast afer Braga's second goal. And that goal was disallowed early in 2nd half at 1-2 so Fiorentina could probably save some energy if the goal would stand. Didn't watch the game though.

Yeah, would probably have more "success" going after someone like Jesus Navas or Bryan Gil instead.

But GKs are usually the easiest people to get to.
