Brilliant game by MvG in the final, Iceman had no chance.
His level has fallen off a bit after the break but had average around 111 after 8 legs.
Phil Taylor is still darts GOAT for me though.

What a talent. Humphreys hit a top 10 all-time tournament average too in the other one which is insane.

Yeah, Humphries's performance got (unfairly) overshadowed. Best player in the world over the last year. Will root for Littler to make history but if Humphries win will be more than deserved as well.
Humphries actually had average over 110 after 5 sets but his level dropped a bit in last set.
Only three times in World Championship history we've seen a 110+ average. Taylor did it twice and then ofc that MvG record (114,05) in 2017 semifinal against Van Barneveld in what's considered the best darts game ever will probably never be broken. Barney's average in that game is the fourth highest all time but he stand no chance against MvG that day. That loss probably also broke his spirit and he was never the same again.
