With laporta we could have 2 or 3 years more with pep, and that would have been enough time for pep to infiltrate couple of more wc players that could be still active.

Wouldnt have happened. Pep left as felt could not motivate the players he had for previous 4 years and needed a break. He has given the reasons he left and he isnt scared to say when didnt agree with board either.

Pep stayed longer than he expected to when first got the job.

What are you claiming would be different under Laporta by time he left? He was getting full control and signings he wanted.

Got tired having to be spokesman of club at times.. that is in his book but equally it says he got tired of having to work with Laporta who spoke too much.

The ending most likely would have been very similar in time he spent at club and fact he has no desire to return shows he has in no way any feelings of unfinished business or leaving early.

If he goes to Chelsea I must say gotta respect him not running to the familiarity of a coach he knows & trust, and instead backing his ability to succeed else where.

Hopefully where every he does he has more than 20 truly great games across 3 years & be can find a spot to play.

Doesnt mean pay it.

If 2 year contract as rumoured for Azpi and probably a decent wage of say 5m as well that is 10m a year on the books for Azpi alone in those two years.

Could spend 25m on a younger player across 5 year contract for that.

Chelsea should thank us if we take their salaries off their payroll. Those two are garbage to make up numbers, nothing more.
