How do you add more pressure to Frenkie though? His stance is to stay with Barca same salary.. It doesn't really happen, if they just keep talking together.

You can't really. They have to play nasty here to get their will OR Frenkie will stay with same salary.

They are playing dirty to change Frenkies mind. Basically trying to break him, one way or another.

Frenkie, just take the fucking Chelsea offer and go. If they pull out, you are facing a season in midtable Manchester or on the bench most of the time at Barca.

The game is up.

The answer is simple, you don't. You don't do anything. If you have exhausted all your options, you simply let it be and respect the contract (if it was not illegal).

Provided that everything is legal, you the club can't unliterally change your mind and say "if you don't agree to a reduction, we are going to do this and that". A contract is a contract. You can't just be a cry-baby and go to the press and go public and whine. This is not how a club, or any professional organization handles itself.

The damage from the bad PR and any potential fallout of having this shitshow displayed in public to our club will be much more than Frenkie's high wages. Maybe players will have a second thought when we pursue them in the future. Maybe potential sponsors will say, why do I want to be associated with this scandalous club?

The bad PR will disappear once the season is in full swing, people don't really have much to talk about right now. The real damage is if he stays on these ridiculous wages and we can't register our players.

People will stop talking about it once the season starts but people will remember this.

I thought we would be able to register all players with the 4th lever and Pique taking a paycut?

Making things public doesn't achieve anything. It worked in the case of Pique, but not with everybody. It makes the club look bad, that's what I don't want.

Agreed. Some things should be dealt with privately behind the scenes. The club is being run like a circus leaking stuff to the media. It damages the image of the club.

if staying and not reducing salary, Barca should bench him until he caves.

Have to set another example for the current and future leeches.

FDJ's entourage should be motivated to leak stuff they consider to be unfair to put the pressure back on Barca.

So Barca trying to prevent leaks unilaterally may not work well.

I also thought that. Unfortunately, someone is lying.

It is probably still true that we can register all players with that, after all Laporta himself said this past Sunday that we would.

They still want to sell Frenkie or make him agree to a paycut to reduce the wage bill, I think.

❗️The agents of Frenkie de Jong and Martin Braithwaite have just arrived in Barcelona. They will meet the club in the next few hours.

Let's hope this gets solved soon. One way or another.

The weather, quality ball and beach spots ensure a certain degree of pull when it comes to players.

As for sponsors, it's more touch n go.
With man-tits Laporta as the figure head + all these weird gossips n press leaks = feminine, hormonal, woke "oh do it for your Club" bleeding heart vibes so maybe Tampax or Olay would wanna join in n femvertize.

gotta give it to Popo though, he put a lot on the line with this Go Big or Go Boom lever strategy

but even if it goes

will be aigh'ree down the line as Elon Musk could swoop in n bring cooler Cule vibes
