Disgusting that Frenkie is being pushed out, while the walking corpse is stinking the place up without any consequences. Won't even be sad when Barca get humiliated in Europe again because of him and the rest of amigos, they don't deserve better.

Just ask 100m the British are desperate enough to pay anything.

What will they do rock up with Scott and Fred again to finish even worse than seventh?

In saying that perfectly understandable why Frenkie doesn't want to join that shamblolic club.

Can end up like poor Pogba or other promising talents.

He should do the right thing and accept a 50% pay cut to stay here.

Very disgusting.

Especially if they turn around and spend 100m on Bernardo Silva. Or give Lewandowski a massive contract.

Not disgusting at all. You have a player on a very big wage that is massively underperforming. You have to sell as his stock is high.

Let's face it, the only hope with De Jong staying is that he is finally gonna take off and play like a world-class player, but we've already said this for nearly 2 years already. This is turning into wishful thinking rather than a real possibility.

The De Jong that scored that goal vs Napoli is what we hoped to see on a constant basis, but we're seeing that once every 10 games. This can't go on. I can only hope that if De Jong stays, he's gonna show us what we paid that huge money for in terms of the transfer fee, bonuses, and wages.

I understand the club for wanting to cash in.

What ur saying is true but the problem if he goes we are thin in midfield whereas we have like 6 players who can start in attack. Unless we sign another good midfielder

Marginally. As someone said, Kessie doesn't have to do much to match De Jong's productivity. And Gavi is gonna be one year on his development. Kid is gonna get better as he gets experience. And if Pedri stays fit more, not that worried about De Jong sale.

Remember, if he played top stuff, nobody would want him sold.

It's just business. Shifting cap to another spot that can improve the 11.

Yeah. Isn't one of the old complains that we're too soft with underperforming players? De Jong is one of those that can be moved in favorable terms for the club.

Truth.

At United, Frenkie can play his main position and have the team revolving around him. From what I've seen, he doesn't warrant that at Barca yet. I think it would be better to keep him this season though, phase out Busquets (who could leave next summer) and give him the midfield, if he still fails to live up to it, sell. I can just imagine in typical Barca fashion, Busi leaves and we are crying out for a player like Frenkie - cue the Frenkie return rumors.

I know he'd never accept this nor United but would be nice if we could loan him there for a season with a buy option providing Frenkie wants to stay there. If he performs and likes ETHs project, fair enough he stays, they activate the clause and we get the fee.
