Just such a shame his best mate De Ligt isn’t coming as well ..


De Ligt would have strengthened our defence and been the instant link with the defence for FDJ to start his days off with us ..

Well I am far happier in that if we were only going to land 1 we got the right one for our team needs. If fact I think we got the best available young player in the world and it happens to be where we most needed fresh talent.

If De Jong was still in the market, he would've been way more in demand than de Ligt, I think, and he would've been even more expensive. So glad we got him in January.

Buying Arthur for 30 was definitely the bigger steal, think he will benefit alot from having someone thats constantly moving off the ball next to him.
