Frenkie and to be fair Busi stepped up in the absence of Pedri for creating chances.

Last two games been top two for xA and across those five games in league been top two for xA/forwad passes etc.

Top four been Busi/FDJ/Raphinha and Torres for chances created and likes of Kessie and Roberto have chipped in with goals and assists.

Frenkie been jack of all trades.

We don't have right midfield for this setup, we can't pay for world class LW.
There is today's information that we would buy Carrasco for 9mil if there were no FFP in January.

With 4-3-3 you need an attacking RB, which we don't have. Kounde or Christensen would be on the bench. De Jong is not suitable for solo CDM role, Gavi is still enigma.

It is easier to stay with 3-2-2-3, and get just new players like Gundogan, Inigo for free plus buy CDM or RB and we are good to go.

Truth be told it's pretty obvious that Barca plays like a well coached team. And the absences are not all in the same area. The defense for example is still having 3/4 starters fit in Balde, Araujo and Kounde, and midfield too with Gavi and Busi. And attack too with Lewa and Raphinha.

And it's at home. Gonna be a close one, but can hold on imo.

My problem is Ferran. He is gonna get a start most likely, and he needs to play decently.

He isn't officially out though? Sport says he is gonna train with the group on monday and see if he can make it or not based on his sensations.
