Delusional.

City have yet to make a marquee signing (CR7, Neymar level) under Pep.

Liverpool are back to their mid table ways. And United are Europa league perennials.

City would have never signed CR7 or Neymar or any other established 'marquee' player, because that's not their philosophy. That's why they never tried.
Only exception would have been Messi, because of the special bond he has with Pep.

Haaland and Mbape are upcoming, none of them is even close to their peak, so it's totally different category, makes perfect sense to go for either one of them.
But especially Haaland, as he is on cheaper wages.

Delusional are all the people here thinking we are still in 2012 where all the players in the world want to go to either Barca or RM.
Jesus, 10 years have passed since and you haven't woken up yet.

CL wins since 2012 for Spain: 5

CL wins since 2012 for EPL: 1

Players RM and Barca have signed since 2012 despite already having Messi and CR7: Suarez (from EPL), Neymar, Bale (from EPL), Modric (from EPL), Kroos just to name a few amazing buys.

LMAO. Stay delusional. EPL is stronger right now but Spain ruled from 08-18. No amount of goal shifting to 2012 will change that. And from the looks of Liverpool, Spain might even come back on top again in 1-2 years.

Laliga needs to make other teams stronger too.

You don't get it, do you?
Only in your mind Spain ruled until 2018.
If you think the best team in Europe wins the CL every season, fine stay within your fictional world.

As for the rest, all the names you drop came in when LaLiga was the best league and had the best teams, which was back in 2012, 2013
Apart from the fact that Suarez had personal reasons as well to come to Barca

But the last 5 years, where are the top players heading to:
Salah, Fabinho to Liverpool,
De Bruyne, Laporte to City,
Pogba, Bruno to United,
Werner Ziyech Haverz to Chelsea.

And that trend is not going to change soon. Only history-prestige is left to Barca and RM.
Hope that Koeman changes at least something: that Barca is along with Bayern the top teams accompanying the English ones

EDIT:
Ooops, I forgot 3 WC players that Barca snapped in between those years:
Dembele, Coutinho, and Griezman

More and more of top players will head for EPL and stay there once arrive with Barca/Madrid not seen as end goal as much as has been but some of those examples of players moving clubs adds nothing to your point at all.

All you are doing is making it easy for a comeback when claiming some of them are top players that chose EPL ahead of Spain.
