You never know. Muller recently stated that he could see himself playing elsewhere. We also have the case of Kroos.

Mueller is only entertaining the idea of leaving because he is older, declining and not getting as many minutes with Bayern as before. Kroos was looking for more money or what he thought he deserved at Bayern based on his status and tenure. Kimmich won't leave any time soon.

Kimmich though isn't actually from Bayern's academy so maybe he doesn't have that same emotional attachment.

Xavi is a massive fan of his, would be interesting to see if that could sway him if he ends up in charge.

Muller is only behind Neuer, Lewa and Alaba in terms of minutes, and we're talking about ~80 minutes behind Lewa and Alaba.

So he had already proven to be a genuinely world class RB and CDM.

Showing to be a world class RM too now. He must be any coach's wet dream.

His crosses are so perfect it's satisfying to watch them.
