He has routinely been the best player against Segunda B teams better than Ibiza. Yesterday was one of those day, clusterfuck of tactical setup with a mixed starting 11 (Firpo and Roberto in a back three with Semedo as Wingback!?!?!), terrible weather and assumed travel iternary (I wouldn't liked to have been airborn in that weather), new coach imposing too much change too soon and a team who are playing their season in one game.
We can't discard a player after 90 minutes. Puig isn't the next Xavi or Iniesta but he doesn't need to be. We need that game changing midfield squad player who can change the dynamic when we need more playmaking and to start home games. A better rounded Ivan de la Pena type.
Stick with him, let him bulk a little and be our Sensi. Thats his path IMO.
